NEW!!! Fall Play Information:

After almost 2 years, we're finally back, live and on the stage. But, more important is that we would like to welcome you back as our live audience! Cardinal High School Theater will be performing The Video Gamapalooza, a comedy written by Don Zolidis on November 19 through the 21. Join us as a Gen-X-er longing for the good ol' days and a chipper youngster show us the history of video games from classics such as Pong and Tetris, all the way to the newest hits: Call of Duty, Minecraft, and Fortnite. You can just imagine the conversations…

Tickets can be purchased beginning November 1 at 12:00 PM EST at https://cardinal.booktix.com. Unless state or local mandates change, this show will be in person exclusively.

Pricing:

$8 for any child, students K-12, college students with a valid student ID, and seniors.

$10 for Adults Admission

Children under 5 are free, but they must sit on the lap of an adult

Online ticket presale ends on November 18, 2021, at 6:00 PM EST.

Tickets will be available for purchase at the door.

ATTENTION CARDINAL FAMILIES:
The masking mandate was rescinded after a school board vote this evening, August 25, 2021. Effective immediately, masking indoors is not required. By federal mandate of the Center of Disease Control masking is still required on school transportation.

For further clarification, the district must follow the guidelines for quarantining and contact tracing. These guidelines are set forth by the Ohio Department of Health. The guidelines can be viewed on the school district webpage under announcements at cardinalschools.org

So again, the Cardinal Local Schools Mask Mandate for indoors has been cancelled. Students and staff are still required to wear masks on school transportation.

ENROLL NOW FOR 2021-2022 SCHOOL YEAR: Registration for the 2021-2022 school year will be held by appointment only. Students who live within the district may enroll for the upcoming school year at any time. Incoming Kindergarten students must be 5 on or before August 1, 2021 to enroll. Call 440-632-0261 x1000 to schedule. Families who live outside the district and wish to open enroll may do so starting May 1 (see above). | ENROLLMENT PACKET

OPEN ENROLLMENT: Open enrollment applications for the 2021-2022 school year will be available electronically beginning May 1, 2021. Open enrollment is for students who do not live in the Cardinal Local School District but would like to attend our schools for the upcoming school year. Applications will be available at the Board of Education Office located at 15982 E. High St. starting Monday, May 3 | DETAILS | APPLICATION

SUBSTITUTES NEEDED: The District is looking to hire non-teaching substitutes for all positions (cafeteria cook & cashier, custodial, maintenance, paraprofessional, secretarial, transportation aides & drivers.) Apply at the BOE. | DETAILS

DISTRICT WITHDRAWALS: Families who need to withdraw their students from the district may now submit their withdrawal form electronically. Please submit one form per student. Please note, if verification of enrollment into the new school is not received within 10 SCHOOL DAYS, the district is required to notify the Bureau of Motor Vehicles and the Geauga County Juvenile Judge. PANDEMIC ELECTRONIC BENEFITS TRANSFER (P-EBT) UPDATE: Ohio has been approved to operate Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer (P-EBT).
